Acquisition of Q-MAC electronics Pty Ltd by Barrett Communications.
Barrett Communications is pleased to announce its acquisition of specialist tactical radio manufacturer Q-MAC Electronics.
Q-MAC Electronics will continue to operate in its own right providing specialist tactical HF and VHF radio solutions. As a result of the acquisition, Barrett Communications will shortly release a range of 30-88 MHz tactical VHF products to complement its PRC-2090 HF tactical communications system. Q-MAC will eventually be merged into Barrett Communications at Barrett’s new headquarters presently under construction in Perth. The combined operation of Barrett Communications and Q-MAC Electronics will provide our existing customers with a fuller range of products and the continued international support that they have become accustomed.
