2000 Series Transceiver Programming Software Default Frequency Packs Update

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL BARRETT COMMUNICATIONS APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED

BEFORE INSTALLING THIS UPDATE.

Note: Applying these changes will modify the "Default transceiver packs" database. If you wish to keep a copy of the current database, you must save the current "Default transceiver packs" database before proceeding by copying the file "DEFAULT_2000.brt" (located in the <2050 Programming Software install location>\resource\db directory) to another folder.

Instructions:

1. Download the transceiver database file "DEFAULT_2000.brt" onto your system by saving it to your hard drive.

2. Copy the file to the <2050 Programming Software install location>\resource\db directory. The following window will appear:

 

 

 

3. Select "Yes".

4. The Programming Software has now been updated. All new clients will now be created with the new frequency pack.
