2000 Series Transceiver Programming Software V4.5 Update

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL BARRETT COMMUNICATIONS APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED

BEFORE INSTALLING THIS UPDATE.

This Update Includes:

V4.1 Changes

- Altered "Mute State" assignments to match 2050 internal assignments so that the correct Mute State is received after an upload

- Prevent deletion of an ALE Address if it is currently in use within an ALE Network

- Creation of "Reassign Self Address" button within "ALE Configuration -> Addresses" tab to allow easier re-configuration of similarly configured ALE transceivers

- Prevent more than one error message from popping up when > 30 entries in the scan table and there are multiple entries being added

- Altered default pack for "Australian Land Pack" to reflect new channels in 2007 Standard Land Channels Guide

V4.2 Changes

- Installer modified to allow S/W to work with .NET Framework 1.1 or 2.0 so that 1.1 is not installed on Vista Operating Systems

- Installer modified to now install .NET Framework 2.0 instead of 1.1 if neither of the .NET Frameworks are currently installed

V4.3 Changes

- Ability to modify Optional IF Filter Type (either "Narrow" or "Wide")

- Ability to modify Security Level (either "Standard" or "High")

V4.4 Changes

- Allow Selcall IDs of "0" to be received

- Increased maximum number of IDs from 50 to 100 (applicable to Firmware Version 1.73 and later; earlier Firmware do not make use of this increased capacity and will only list the first 50)

V4.5 Changes

- Only a maximum of 14 ALE Preset Messages (out of 18) were processed when receiving a pack

- ALE Threshold Test values in database were not updated correctly

Note: Applying the update will reset the "Default transceiver packs" database. To save the current "Default transceiver packs" database, copy the file "DEFAULT_2000.brt" (located in the <2050 Programming Software install location>\resource\db directory) to another folder. Once the update has completed, copy the file back to its original location.
