2064 Radio Voice Bridge

The Barrett 2064 Radio Voice Bridge has been designed specifically to monitor and bridge two different types of radio network simultaneously whether they be HF, VHF or UHF. Through a H250 handset, a user can monitor the audio from both networks. The user can select the individual network through which to talk whilst still being able to monitor activity on the other network via LED indicators on top of the unit.
Cross-connecting the audio between network 1 and network 2 forms a bridge between the radio networks over which the 2064 user can both monitor and communicate. The voice bridge is automatically activated whenever voice is detected on either network.
Audio levels are automatically adjusted and normalised via the automatic gain control. Handset and speaker volume are controlled by the 2064’s volume switch.

Connection Example

Light Emitting Diodes on the 2064 unit indicate to the operator the receive and transmit audio activity on either of the connected radios.

The 2064 provides Volume control that adjusts both the Handset/Headset as well as the internal speaker volume. When in the L1 or L2 selector setting, the Volume control adjusts the audio output level to Radio 1 and Radio 2 respectively.

The 2064 units are fitted with internal waterproof speakers to alert operators of incoming calls or radio activity.
